120mm fork on 2012 Exile Comp?

Anybody out there put a 120mm fork on an '12 Exile Comp (15")? Any issues? Do you like the difference? Thanks.

I wouldn't do it. It's going to increase the already tall height of the bars, increase the BB height and make the bike handle a tad slower. I went down to a 80mm Recon and I loved the difference in the handling. However, it made the bike descend like a slinky. My rear wheel met the back of my head a few times before I went back to the 100mm.

Already feeling pretty slinky like so, write 80mm! I decided it wasn't the travel but the geometry so decided to slacken it out by 1.5 degrees. One I get the new headset installed I will report back.

    Any progress on this tinkering?

I've been thinking about upping the travel of my 2012 Exile. Would like to go 120, would love to go even more. Handling is less of a concern, rather I worry about snapping off the head tube on a hard hit. Frame is undeniably beefy though.

I got the new headset installed and going slacker by 1.5 degrees makes the bike much more stable on fast descents. It also seems to keep the front a bit more planted.
