New question here. Yakuza Bakuto fork swap?

So I've been riding my Yakuza Bakuto for about two years, with the stock fork (Marz Drop-off III w/160mm travel). I don't ride too much gnarly stuff, every once and awhile I'll hit up some jumps, mostly I use it for what I would consider cross country trail riding (2-3 hr rides balanced by climbing and downhill). I'm trying to upgrade the fork to something with less travel w/o changing the wheelset which is a 20mm thru axle. I've been considering the Marzocchi 4X which has a 20mm thru axle and right around 100mm travel. I just want something with less travel that is still pedal friendly and accepts my wheelset.

How will handling differ with a fork with less travel?

Any other suggestions on forks with 100mm travel with 20mm thru axle?

Hey, from what I saw, the recommended fork travel for Yakuza hardtails is 150mm (goes for 05-07 models), so 100mm might put the rest of the bike too close to the ground...

Going from 160mm down to 100mm will probably change your head angle too much, and you'll get pedal strikes galore.

I probably wouldn't want to push it past 130mm....
