New question here. Question about MKIII Comp cranks.

I'm considering the MKIII Comp, and the components seem great except for the Truvativ Blaze cranks. As far as I can tell they are low end cranks as I see them speced on soem rather low end bikes. I'm not sure what to expect from them (heavy and flexy?). Anyone have any info about them? Ska Todd, what is your opinion on them?

The Blaze cranks are a mid range trail crank. They are not XC race light but not FR huckable. They kinda bridge the gap. They are available both in an Isis and PowerSpline config. The ones used on the Mk III Comp are the Isis version w/ an alloy big ring. From riding them they aren't the lightest crank but they are nice and stiff for the price.

Those cranks are OK. Take them off and get these:

The price is excellent and have friends that love this crank. And, it is XC light and stiff as heck.
