What have you changed on your bike? How long have you been ridin on theat coil shock? What is it? Fox something? What do you think of the Minute Fork?
:confused:
I bought the frame usd last year so the bike is completely custom.

I've put a fox vanilla RC non propedal version..(to be tested, snowing here today)...I chose the RC after reading a lot on this forum.

I've added the betd headset cup adapater to be able to put a regular headset cup...it gives me about 1 degree of slack.

as far as a manitou minte fork...It's a good fork..very widely used here in quebec, i went for the nixon because i wanted a more heavy duty fork. i've been riding the nixon for two years now without any problems...

Got my 21" 05 MKIII 13 months ago and since then have made following 'upgrades' / 'mods';
# installed crud-catchers - one on front of rear triangle, one under downtube - to protect DW-link bearings, shock and drivetrain from as much gunk as possible
# took off big chainring as for my riding it is pretty much superfluous, and with local singletrack littered with very hard volcanic rocks gives me more ground clearance. Had hoped I might be able to go 1-9, but can't live without my granny
# Swopped out original bar and stem for a second hand combo (10deg / 100mm stem) that gives me more upright / trail bike stance
# Swopped the Reba for a 05 Pike Team - a mate wanted the Reba for his wife's bike, and we direct swopped. The coil and 20mm Maxle = huge improvement, especially on fast rough descents. Being able to wind down to 95mm for long / steep climbs also brilliant
# Bought a wheel set off same mate - DMR revolver hubs with Mavic F219 rims
# Have run mostly 2.1WTB Weirwolfs, but after trying 2.4 MutanoRaptors (the rear one rubbed on triangle) am now sold on bigger volume tyres and am looking out for lighter weight '2.3's' like single ply 2.35 High Rollers, 2.24 Mutano's
# Recently changed chain and cassette - SRAM pc971, pg-990
# Hayes 9 brakes, SRAM X7 shifters, X-gen front and X9 rear derailleur's, and Ario shock (running 85lb) unchanged
