    Iron Horse, Ska Todd, et al.

    Alas, after researching and riding just about every frame at my lbs, I pulled the trigger on an '04 Hollowpoint Expert yesterday. Aside from great components and a sick ride,
    I primarily kicked down the $$$ for the Hollowpoint due to the efforts of Ska Todd and everyone else involved with IH.

    I'll admit, I was dangerously close to bringing home a Kona. I gave the new Enduro Comp a long and hard look as well. However, I remembered a post from sometime ago where a guy was having an issue with his bike, and the IH crew jumped right on it. It was refreshing to see such personal attention from such a large manufacturer. That sealed the deal for me.

    I think the industry has a lot to learn from IH.

    Congratulations,

    ...and the support has been appreciated by me as well, but besides getting a great product from a solid company, you've bought yourself a bike that climbs like a goat and provides stable, smooth, fast descents. The DW Link is pretty amazing. For setup the 1/3 rear sag is the most important thing, then you can tweak fork sag, tire pressure, and rider position. I made a couple of changes to mine to get the weight down a bit, but the only really substantial things were going to a flat bar to get a little lower in the front and replacing the stock tires with pythons. The bike rocks!

    Great suggestions Dusty. I am working with the setup as we speak, and I've heard from others on this forum that the 1/3 sag is key.

    I'll take a look at the pythons after I wear my tires out. They seem a bit heavy.
