How'd ya slip that one by us?

Sharp. I'm surprised there isn't much buzz here on this one.

Whazzup with the headset/headtube configuration? Onepointfive, right? Why the IS (and not ZS) cups? Why not the Onepointfive fork? You gonna spec it with the 6" rotors?

because Rock Shox doesn't make a 1.5 fork. the point of 1.5 headtubes isn't just so you can run a 1.5 fork. it's got lots of other useful purposes, like being stronger and/or lighter, increasing weld surface area which makes a stiffer/stronger front end, ability to run larger bearings, etc.

Right, but they can achieve similar results by using the fat, oversized headtube of the Zero Stack system that IH has been using on the Hollowpoints up to now.

I guess the better question is, "why not go with a Onepointfive Manitou fork?" Just curious since e.13 / evil / Dave Weagle seem big proponents of the standard, and IH uses Manitou suspension on some of their bikes.

The 1.5 HT is to give riders the option of running any 4X fork of their liking and also helps reduce chance for HT ovalization. We run the e13 cups in this setup w/ a FSA IS headset.

The bike shown is a team bike so it does not feature a 1.5 fork. Todd Bosch will be running his w/ a 1.5 Sherman this season. The bike shown is w/ 6" rotors as this is what the team runs for 4x. Right now it is a frame only and no plans for a complete bike...unless y'all want a full 4x bike for 05
