I am Looking for a broken rear triangle

I have a good friend that is a welder and I am looking for a 2008 mkiii broken rear triangle that I can work with him on. I have some thoughts on how to strengthen the triangle without adding much weight at all.

So what I am looking for is a triangle that is no more than cracked. It can't be bent or trashed.

If all goes well ill post pics and give out his info so you can ship your broken parts to him and work directly with him.

PM me or reply to this post if you are interested in giving up your broken parts.

So In the past couple of weeks while I was looking for a cracked rear triangle, I cracked my own.

So now I am in the process of repairing and beefing up the old one. If anyone is interested Ill post pics and let you know how it works out. I will also be willing to fix your triangle if you are interested. Ill let you know of prices when its all done.

Sent mine off to get fixed. Found another crack when I dismantled it.
Drive side chainstay in front of the dropout. Glad I found before I sent it & can get both fixed.

so first off, before I put the triangle on I weighed it against a stock one I have and it was only 50grams more.

so far gave it a little beating and held up good.

I assume having to fly SKOTT160's 'colors' led you to clean-up the process. JK, and good job man. I bet you could reduce the mass of that even more after more shredding.
