Changing rear travel on Hollowpoint -- 'rotate' rear shock?

    Hi,

I just picked up a Hollowpoint this weekend and want to change the rear travel setting. To use the 4.5"-travel setting, I realize I need to flip the shock over so the adj. knobs clear the linkage. I've tried to read up on some of the great post here, and someone mentioned keeping on end of the shock bolted in place and then just 'rotating' the free/'linkage' end around. Is this so? Or no? I'm leaning towards no, but thought I'd ask.

    Thanks!

Let air out of shock. Unbolt the shock and the shock shuttle on the linkage end. Rotate the shock cyclinder (an allen key or similar inserted into shock hole will give you some leverage). Reattach shock with the shuttle flipped.
Worked for me, thanks to the advice of people here.

Is this the 4.5" setting? See picture

I'm new to this frame and am wondering what setting I'm on. Mine is in the top holes(unlike the picture)
