This idea was originally kicked around in another thread, but this should prove fun since the weather has decided to play nice out here in the bay area.
A good amount of MTBR IH riders live within the bay area, so maybe we should all meet up for some good riding and fancying of each others rigs...
Thoughts?
late-May, maybe Annadell in Sonoma or Skeggs or something downsouth. I know there is May By the Bay so we could piggy back that or make our own celebration with mandatory beer!
Summer time? but that is to far away and snow might be there until November!
This sounds like it will be a blast guys, have fun, I wish I could get out there for it! I have a ton of dw-link stickers, If someone posts up an address Ill send a bunch out.

Yo Baycat was that you this weekend with the MBTB crew? your herd passed us as we were chillin on marsh and rhyolite trails having a snack. Boundry huh, that is a fun one albeit much tamer than it used to be............
Yeah there was a big posse of us like 30 something at the start. Then we broke up into A and B groups on ridge, and rode off to hit boundary and rough go.
Should have kept an eye for your horsey! Hopefully we get a bunch of IH out in Annadel next weekend. Role call!
Oh Snap! I just remembered that the 10th is my anniversary. oh well. it's been a good 7 or 8 years............ it's been pretty hot here lately what about moving the start up to nine?
You mean up Boundary or down Boundary? If you mean UP, then I bow before you...I'm not worthy, I'm not worthy!
As far as the route, it would depend on how much abuse everyone can handle. We could even have two routes, something like this: we all hang together up to Buick Meadow, and together come down South Burma to the intersection with Richardson. Those who are ready can continue back to the parking lot via North Burma, Live Oak, Rough Go, Cobblestone, etc etc. Those in the mood for more punishment can head down Richardson for a trip up Two Quarry and maybe around Ridge. Or something.
Route I liked last time, two quarry was fun and techie going up
up Two Quarry -> Buick Meadow -> Lawndale -> Lawndale Rd -> Schulz Rd -> Schultz ->Ridge -> (then hit what you mentioned Appendage) Burma-> Live Oak -> Rough Go->Cobblestone
down Boundary, hate going up that!
But I am up for anything as long as Lepes is included and of course peoples time schedules
Wonder how many are coming?
Got let me take a spin on your m4 equipped horsey appendage
how long did it take you to do that loop on the MBTB ride? that's about 25 miles I think right? I don't have a computer or carry a watch on my rides but on the 10th I will definitely be on a time limit.
If we ax lawndale and schultz we can keep the mileage down and still hit some really sweet trails. We'll figure it out depending on how everyone is feeling.
I will have to work this weekend. (they joys of self employment... set your own schedule = you get to choose what 12 hours of the day you get to work... I'm busy so it is a good problem to have)
Sorry, I was very much looking forward to this.
Have a good ride, and don't forget the ride report!
