Well its here and its beautiful, but its just way too heavy for my riding. I love the travel and how plush it is, just can't be hiking it up with that weight. So its going up in the classifieds shortly.

7 Point Updates

Haven't been out on the 7 Point too much of late, been having some fun on the trail bike. Here is how it is setup now.

Picked up complete bike, sold off most of the gear and transferred what I had from my previous bike.

I think the handle bar is the only original piece.

SRAM X9 drivetrain, solid and dependable.
Mavic 721 wheels on Hadley rear, and King front hubs
Talas 180 RC2 up front with a Vivid Air R2C out back. I kept my old Juicy 7's because they just seem to work for me. Still running the old tried and tested Minion DHR/DHF tire combo with great success.

Added the Cane Creek 1.5 degree angleset. HA appears to be around 66. Almost wish it was little slacker at times.

The bike is heavier then I would like (about 38 lbs), but pedals reasonably well and descends excellently.

I might add the C-Guide as there is still some chain slap even with the Stinger guide. I just installed one on my Reign, so I need to see how it performs.

Here are a couple of recent pics.
