    2004 Hollowpoint shock size?

    Hey, does any one know what size the 2004 hollowpoints take for rear shocks? lenght and eye to eye?

    It is 6.5" eye to eye.

    Hollowpoints are 6.5" x 1.5". 04 models use 24mm x 8mm hardware on both ends w/ the brace and w/o the brace it's front: 24mm x 8mm, rear: 41.5mm x 8mm.

    can I use 7.5 eye to eye shock

    hi. just wanna ask if I can use 7.5 eye to eye shock for HP frames 04 models. will there be effect in pedaling efficiency on this shock change?

    Won't work. Try unbolting one end of your shock now and see how far you can open 'er up. 7.5 just won't fit without some creativity on your part (and a drill bit), and that might be to the detriment of the dw-link.
