    05-06 MkIII Set up

So i just got a used Iron horse. The rear shock is a Fox rp23 and the fork is a Reba Race. I followed both Fox's and Rockshock guide for air pressure. I have 182 psi in the rear which is my weight. In the front i have 135psi on the + and 125 on the -. Does this sound right? It feels ok riding on the street. Can't test it on dirt till it stops raining thanks for the help.

I weigh about the same & run 160 in the back & seldom bottom out.
I've got the Pike up front running 90+ & 95-. You need a little more in the bottom for plushness, but not too much or it sucks the travel down.

Sounds like too much pressure in the rear. (Can't help with the fork, though I will note that for my Pike, the recommended pressure for my weight was much much too high.)

For both the front and rear, go by sag rather than generic pressure recommendations from the manufacturer. For the rear, the leverage ratio will have a big impact on what the pressure should be. For the front, your weight distribution on the bike will affect the sag.

For the MkIII, shoot for between 30-33% sag for the rear, and perhaps somewhat less than this for the front. Don't go below 20% sag for either front or rear.
