    Rohloff Speedbone Question

    Hello,
I would like to upgrade my bike (99 Hot Chili Zymotic) to a Speedhub CC DB EX. Going to order it shortly.
This is what the rear will look like (Type 1, on the right):

Have I got my choice of Speedhub right (do I need the OEM version?), and will I be able to fit a monkeybone? Don't really fancy sticking and ugly speed bone on there, plus I wouldn't have the faintest where to screw it on to...

    Cheers for all your help!

With type 1 frame you can only fit a SPEEDHUB using the long torque arm.

OEM won''t work as you don't have special dropouts.
OEM2 won't work due to the position of the brake mount in relation to the dropout slot. The axleplate torque will/may level the axle out of the dropout slot.

You have choice of bolt-on or Q/R axles.

    Thanks for the clarification.

Do you know of any semi elegant ways to attach the torque arm to the frame?

    Nice nickname btw ;-)
