I have a Surly Pugsley ( which has slot dropouts ) with a Rohloff hub. To get the rear wheel out of the bike I have to loosen the rear brake caliper and detach it from the speedbone so I can slide out the wheel. Though that's not too much of a problem when in my garage I don't fancy it in the dark and cold in the middle of nowhere. So far I've been lucky, but eventually I'll be caught out.
Is there anything I could use to solve this problem, I've seen a post mount brake adapter but can't figure out if this would do the trick.
I love my bike and hub but for this one thing which is always at the back of my mind when I'm in an iscolated place in adverse conditions when I can't afford to be stood still and fiddling with things.
Please Help :-)
