    Rohloff CC DB vs CC DB OEM

    What is the difference between CC DB and CC DB OEM?

    Why is the CC DB more expensive than CC DB OEM? See for example,

    Rohloff SPEEDHUB 500/14 gear hub 2014

    The CC DB hub has a quick release axle with disc brake rotor mounts, and comes with a torque arm to index to the frame as well as a chain tensioner to take up chain slack.

    The CC DB OEM hub is the same, but comes with the OEM axle plate instead of a torque arm to index to the frame and no chain tensioner.

    The price difference is because of the extra cost of the torque arm and chain tensioner.
