    Kervelo mid mount gearbox

    This one looks interesting.

They also have a front driver version.

A bb mounted Rohloff. Good idea except the limited choice of cranks. Now if they just used a chainring spline interface like sram or race face as the input interface you could use any number of off the shelf compatible cranks. Isis splined cranks were crap.

Crap ISIS cranks were crap. Good ones were very good, eg Middleburn.

You could also make a geared unicycle or penny farthing with this.

I thought most of the issues were from the mediocre BB's that came with the isis style cranks. Personally never had an issue with the cranks myself.
A few of the e-bike motor systems are using Isis/Square taper as well, so there is that. Maybe they have worked around the sub-par bearings of the isis style BB with the extra room afforded by the size of the motor casing?
I like the idea of this Kervelo system, certainly wouldn't mind trying it out myself. Good find, Velobike!
Deflated - buy parts to sell parts to buy more parts.. bikes are my drug of choice

    FATTrailer for the kiddo
