Gap between OEM2 and Rohloff hub?

    Hello
I have a Rohloff I picked up used a couple of years ago that I've just had built up with the intention of running it on my new Big Dummy frame. It had an OEM1 axle plate mounted on it, and it also came with an OEM2 axle plate, which is the one I need for the BD. When I started to bolt the OEM2 axle plate to the hub I noticed that it has a shoulder that orients towards the hub, and that shoulder is taller than the recess in the hub is that accepts it, so the axle plate doesn't sit flush against the hub. This just doesn't look right. The OEM1 axle plate mounts flush ( the shoulder doesn't project as high). Any insights as to what is wrong would be cheerfully and gratefully appreciated!

    Thanks
    Marc

    no problem after all

I was too tender with the screws. Once I had all 5 in there and torqued to the 25 in-lb all is well.
