    Alfine chain problem

I love my alfine hub but on a 6 in travel bike,Im constantly dropping my chain,(even on small drops} and then shear off the shifter cable at the cassette joint. My chain line is good and my chain is pretty tight.Do i need a stronger chain tensioner or will a chainguide (e13) fix this problem?......thanks

What chain tensioner are you currently using? You really need a double pulley on a full suspension bike.
