Thanks for all the suggestons - request line now closed

    Hey Everyone,

Mtbr.com will be at Interbike with a pretty big crew this year. We’ve got a lot of exciting stuff planned, including the featured coverage we provide with our Virtual TradeShow Booths, which include video, too.

In addition, we like to take suggestions and requests from you, the online mountain biking community, on what YOU would like to see from the show.

There’s plenty of exciting new stuff coming out…

What rumors have YOU heard? What do you want us to take photos and/or videos of? (besides booth babes, of course!)

    Thanks,

-gregg, francis, forrest, john, thien and the Mtbr crew

Find the companies selling the exer-cycles that tilt like a treadmill to simulate hills. Then get them to explain how that works on a bike.

Geometry thing... Like the difference between climbing stairs or a hill... The force applied is not in the same direction went going uphill... So you work harder, but at least in a real life hill climbing position...

Only if you are actually climbing a hill. You are not lifting any weight, like you would running on a treadmill

The claim on these things is they simulate downhills, too.

    Total BS.

I agree the DH is BS... but I can still see a fair advantage for the uphill, compared to basic fixed trainers... But it's not worth the real training in any way.
