VPP Suspension (Tracer 2)... Air or coil?
So I was reading up on how some suspension systems work better with an air shock over a coil, and vice versa.
I'm currently running a CCDB on my Tracer2, but wondering if the VPP is aimed more at having an air shock instead?
IMO it has more to do with rider weight. Heavier riders (like myself) find that the RP23 or similar shocks blow through mid stroke travel too easily (with correct 30% sag) on the Tracer VP & 2. With that being said I run a Vivid coil on my VP for everyday trail riding/smashing around but still have the RP23 handy for more XC oriented days in the saddle.
