You know, these photos were taken when it was built.
    Today it's very dirty

I just can't remember to bring my camera with me in every riding.

    My Tracer

Still have to sort out some of the bits, but finally got it built. Gonna keep this one as a strict XC build and ride it accordingly.

Just swapped out my Talas 32 for a 160mm Talas 36 and absolutely love the way this bike rides - everything feels perfectly balanced for a true "all mountain" setup. Definitely worth the extra pound up front - she weights in right at 29.9 lbs now - really a fun ride - tight work Intense!

    Looks nice Tim
Have you taken it to Mt. Baldy yet? I think it's about 1 hour drive from your place. That's probably the closest downhill trail around the area that I know of.

Hey Niko, good to hear from ya. I board at Baldy all the time (best hill around and only 40 min from home) but never have taken the mtb there. I've heard mixed things about the riding there, it's a steep mountain with very loose/rocky terrain. I have ridden Summit up in Big Bear and that was pretty fun, but they don't let you ride the runs anymore because some a-hole sued them or something, but still fun.

Always wanted to own an Intense. Recently while looking of a 5 inch rig this frame came up and I couldn't pass it up.

Frame - 2010 Intense Tracer (medium)
    Fork - Reba Revelation 150mm 20mm
    Drivetrain - X0, X9, XT and E13
    Brakes - 08 XT's
    Post - Syncros, Reverb soon
    Seat - WTB Ti
    Wheels - Hopes Pro II's on 717's
Bars - Easton Haven (710mm, fat low rise)
    Pedals - Shimano XTR
    Stem - Sunline XC
    Head Set - Gravity

Hoping I am going to like it.

Welcome andy nice TVP!!. There's no way you will not like that bike if it's a perfect mix of XC/AM you're after. Mine is set up similar and I find it to be the perfect do-it-all bike that climbs really good for being such a capable decender as well. Enjoy.

Well I love it so far. Tend to ride it in the longer travel mode. Reverb installed. My goal was to keep it under 13kgs, but still be a very competitive Super D, gravity enduro type bike. So at 12.68kgs I am quite happy.

Nice juan, great setup for riding just about anything - I'm a big fan of the raw frame.

First ride with the new CP BlackLite post and Spank Spike pedals (San Juan Trail, South OC) Perfect riding day and the adjustable post makes riding this trail sooo much more fun.

Darn Tim, I envy that weather!
Here, it's been very wet year so far. And now, it's not cold enough, the trail only freezes in the morning, the afternoon sun thaws the frozen ground making it wet and muddy.

Glad you enjoy your bike bro. Nice seatpost, btw

    New look!

Yeah, so I just got new decals! I wanted the grey and black decals since the beginning, but never got around to it!
I think the bike looks way better! Cleaner looking!

I also put the "SNEIK" decal in memory of a cousin who just passed away a couple months ago...he was like a brother to me...So a friend of mine did these for us and I knew exactly were to put it!

    Tim

Great set up. That contraption is ready for some steep ass terrain. Looks like you're suffering from a extreme case of up-gradetatis. Man, do I miss San Juan trail.

    Cheers

Can you post your build specs please. My build isn't that different from yours but weighs in at 13.7kgs so I'm perplexed as to where you found 1.2kgs...

    Frame : Tracer (of course)
Forks : RockShox Rev Teams 150mm Tapered
    Headset : Gravity zero stack
Brakes : XT 6 inch rotors front and rear
Wheels : Ringle Black Flag Pro (these save a fair bit of weight I think, about the same weight as my Hope Pro IIs with Mavic 717s) Tubeless set up.
    Cluster : 11/34 990? pink Sram
    Chain : 991 Sram
    Rear Mech : X9
    Shifter : X0
    Chain ring : e13 32 tooth
    Cranks : 175 Noir
    Pedals : XT trail
    Seat Post : Reverb
Seat : Prologo Ti rail thing
    Stem : Easton Haven 70mm
    Bars : Easton Haven 711mm
    Grips: Steve Peat lizard skins
Tyres: 2.35 BlingBling front wirebead sticky rubber (awesome tyre, like a Minion with no center) 2.25 Ardent folding bead.

When the BlingBling dies I was going to try NobbyNics which should loose a little more weight.

I am finding it is at the dangerous weight though. I tend to still hit some of the not quite as extreme DH race tracks on it and I have noticed that on the bigger gap jumps it starts to feel too light in the air.
