New question here. Tracer VP offset bushings?

Has anyone tried running offset shock bushings on the Tracer Vp? Looks like a cheap way to lower the BB and slacken HA. If so, are there any issues with frame/tyre clearances etc?

    Thanks

I'd say it's questionable. You can get tire contact on the seat tube in 6" mode and a large tire as is. Also, VPP is designed to have a specific sag point. My BB was about 13.75" with a Works Component -1.5 headset and a Float 36. I was quite fond of that bike.

I'm doing it right now, but not for geometric reasons. It's the only way a CCDB Air fits on a size medium TVP in 6" travel mode. Mine are clocked so that they don't change the I2I length at full compression - they space the shock down from the top tube in this position. As Giggity said, I wouldn't use offset bushings in the 6" position to slacken the bike, as mine already buzzed the front D cable running along my seat tube at full jounce as-is (Conti X-King 2.4). There are photos of my setup over in the thread I made about the CCDBA, but I don't think they're relevant to what you're asking to do.
