As you can see, I'm still running my White Brothers Loop set at 150mm (which is what I used on my Ventana El Bastardo at 140mm). I'll be replacing it with an X-Fusion Slant when they come out in February sometime. I've been running X-Fusion on my 650B hardtail (Soma B-Side) for a couple of years, and they work great. I want to support them because they were hip to 650B early on, and their fork is almost a quarter pound lighter than a Fox 34. Current build comes in at 28lbs, 14oz.
Nice 275! I also have a Tracer 275 and was interested in the X Fusion Slant too. I emailed X Fusion to see when it will be available. I was told that the 650b and 26" versions of this fork were different and that the 650 version wouldn't available until mid year instead of mid February for the 26" only version.

On a side note, how do you like the White Brothers? I'm thinking about getting one since I can't get a Slant for a while. That and my Revelation is a piece of junk.

Hey Duncan: Yeah, I'm sure X-Fusion is tired of taking calls on the Slant for 650B. I spoke to them last week and got the same info, June/July release. I don't know why they don't just put that info on their web-site. Since it's taking so long for them, I went ahead and pulled the trigger on a Fox 34. Should be here in another day or two.

I like the White Brothers Loop. It's a very good fork. I've not ridden any Fox forks in the last few years, so I can't compare the two. I can only say that it works well. And, I know where you can get a good deal on one! I was planning on selling it on eBay. Let me know if you have any interest. It does have a small surface scratch on the left stanchion, but it doesn't affect the ride.

How tall are you and could you give a bit more specifics regarding the build kit? (stem length, handlebar, seatpost etc.)?

    Thanks

Nice bike! I'm 6'5 350#, I doubt that'll work for me til I lose about 50-60 lbs huh? I'm trying to plan ahead on a FS bike after I use a HT to drop weight.

Okay, im sure this has been answered a million times already but how do you reassemble the lower link. I took my t2 apart in mid december to paint it (looks nice btw) and now l cant remember how it goes together. I took pix of the take down but my pc crashed with the info. I cant find what lm looking for anywhere. The bearings are in but where does the metal ring go in the order?

I have a PDF titled "VPP Bearing Replacement" that might help. PM me your email and I'll send you all the T2 stuff I have you want it.

After riding my Tracer 2 for two years it is time for an upgrade: I bought a CCDB coil.

What I heard so far about the performance I can't wait for the first rides.
But I am not sure which mounting kit I do need to fit the shock into frame.

The kit from the Fox RP23 is so tight I do not want to damage it while trying to get it off.

So does anyone know which kit fits?

    Thanks in advance

    Matthias

P.S.: As I am on a business trip I can not measure it by myself.

Thanks to the all knowing internet and a digital caliper here are my measured datas:

    Frame:

    Intense Tracer 2 from 2011

    Shock:

    Cane Creek Double Barrel Coil from 2012 or newer (215mm x 63mm/8.5in x 2.5in)

    Shock eyelet: 24,6mm x 6mm/0.97in x 0.23in

    End eylet: 30,0mm x 6mm/1.18in x 0.23in

So far so good. What confuses me a bit is that the measurements differ from the usual options you get from cane creek or tf tuned.

Is this such a rare format or is that the usual variation in production?

Sweatypants, I was thinking that you explained somewhere how you got the skulls on your bike, but I can't seem to find it. And did you anodize the bolts yourself?
