Spider, Spider 2 rear tire size

Wanted to know what tires you guys have had success or problems with on the rear of a Spider. Is clearance any different on the Spider 2? I am used to running Nevegal 2.1 or 1.95. I have used a Nevegal 2.5 front and Nevegal 2.35 rear combo on my old bike for Mammoth and such.

Anyone have issues with mud buildup on the rear?

    TIA

These bikes don't need tires? What's up!

I have a Spider XVP, and use a Maxxis Medusa 1.9, I think the 2.0 version is ok too, but not a 2.1 or 2.35...

    Thanks

Somebody does have tires on their Spider/Spider2

Just kidding, but I was hoping to get riders to tell me what they found that didn't work and what did.

Is the swingarm any different on the Spider2 than the original Spider?

I tried a Kenda Telonix 2.2 on a Spider XVP and it was too big, Nevegal 2.1 worked well. You would not get a 2.35 to work.

I don't know if the Spider 2 is any different.

The original Spider could run as big as a 2.25 but again that depends on the manufacturer and most all 2.1's will fit with plenty of room.
The Spider 2 basically uses the 5.5 style rear so up to 2.35 tire will fit and it has much better mud clearance.
