Tough to give you a definitive answer as sizing is personal. Take a look at your current bike's top tube to give you an idea of where you should be.

If you held a gun to my head and said guess, it sounds like you would run a medium with a shorter stem.

Thats the problem ive always ridden mediums with around a 23" top tube but 29r comp has a 23." and the small is 22.5", this may be different due to been a 29r but im not sure because ive only ever rode 26"

What length stem are you riding and how tall are you?

    Thanks

Im 5'9" and wounding if I should order a small or medium?

    Thanks
I am 5'8" and I went with the 70mm stem. I think a small would just be to cramped for me.

What bike are riding now and what size stem?

What BB are you using with your RF Next cranks?
When in doubt... Pedal it out.

For the longer travel position should the shock be in the lower holes? Thanks.

Here are some pics of the finished product.(almost)

I will post a longer review after I get a couple more rides in. I put about 65 miles on it so far and I want to make sure my opinions aren't clouded by "new bike syndrome".

Are LBS tech is getting the new Scott 700 SL so we plan on doing a little back to back test and see what each other thinks about the others rides.

I will say this about the Spider Comp though. This thing climbs the steep technical stuff like a scalded ape.
