softer rear triangle on the new 5.5

A friend of mine built 5.5 half a year ago. According to him, the rear triangle is very soft, softer than that on blt. He says that just by pushing the rear triangle by hand he can move it sideways for about an inch.

Recently he has discovered a further play in the triangle, and when the shop owner took the triangle apart, the left upper bearing just felt out of the socket.
It seems that the left upper bearing socket was overdrilled.

The shop owner suggested putting lots of loctite, and maybe some epoxy to hold the bearing in place.

However, the friend wonders, whether its a warranty situation (he's the original owner).

    Any ideas?

    Issues with 5.5

The course of action for dealing with your friends frame issues.... is to have the local dealer that he took the frame into call us. Then; if needed we can get the frame in to evaluate, and figure out a solution.
