    Please help to identify a frame

    It's Tracer 2 declared year 2011, declared size L. I have my doubts. I'd be grateful for any help. I will pm the frame's ID to anyone willing to help.

    Thanks guys.

    I will double-check on my 2011 large T2 when I get home but in the past the 2nd character in the serial number should indicate the size (S, M, L). In the past, the serial numbers all used to be structured as I've outlined below. However, I should warn that I had an Intense Slopestyle 1 that was ID-ed as a large in the SN but measured like a medium.

    Serial Number Example: AL1234

    A = Intense code for the bike model
    L = Frame Size (Large)
    1 = Year of manufacture (2001)
    2 = Month of manufacture (Feb)
    34 = Frame Number

    I know about this example, the problem is that it's not consistent with what I got.

    I got BAM 7 1 3 six 5 1

    It supposed to be Large frame from 2011, not a Medium from January 2007, with serial number 3651.

    Sorry, not sure how the newer serial numbers decode. You can probably get a quick answer from Intense customer service (Sam@IntenseCycles.com). Sam posts here all the time and always seems really helpful.

    If it is indeed a Tracer 2, it would have to be a 2011 or newer. 2010 I believe was the last year for the previous Tracer VP model and it is easily distinguished from the T2 by the rear triangle strut braces.

    I'm sure you've already done this but you can also confirm the size by head tube length (5" for L) and seat tube length (19" for L). As I mentioned earlier I had an Intense SS1 that was marked as a L but had the measurements for a M. I have heard the same from others here as well so your tape measure will be your best tool here.

    Can you post a picture of the serial number on here?
