    I don't think it was machined at Intense. its light, Lighter than my Easten Haven. Let you know more when I get my fork back.

    Maybe Intense visited the bike trade show in China/Taiwan and picked out one of the higher end manufacturers to 3D/net forge such high quality stems. Check for thickness consistency around the steerer clamp... if it's even around, that's some really high quality, considering how inaccurate that general manufacturing process is reputed to be.

    I personally went with a Syntace MegaForce2 stem, but if I were on a tighter budget, I'd consider something like this: CarbonCycles.CC :: Components :: Products :: Stems - Alloy :: eXotic Meta F Stem :: CC-M123106
