    New Tracer 275 build

After a few months, moving back home and waiting on some parts, finally got the Tracer 275 together.

Only pedaled it in the neighbourhood today. Maiden voyage tomorrow!

So far, I can tell it pedals better than my Nomad and feels burlier.
Position on the bike is spot on! Both pedaling and DH/seat down.
    Pike is very smooth.
Super stoked on the bike and how it turned out.

Bike is 31.5 without pedals. So just shy of 32 with the flats.

    Here's the build:

    Frame - Tracer 275 - Large
    Fork - 2014 Pike RCT3 160 mm
Headset - Chris King Inset 3
Wheels - Flow EX on Hope Pro2 Evo (DT Swiss RWS axle)
Tires - Schwalbe Hans Dampf F+R (tubeless)
    Brakes - Shimano XT
    Shifters - Shimano XT (I-spec)
    FD - Shimano XT
    RD - Shimano XT plus
    Crank - Shimano XT (2x10)
    Cassette - Shimano XT
    Chain - KMC X10SL
    Handlebar - Chromag OSX
    Grips - Chromag
Stem - Truvativ AKA 60 mm
    Saddle - WTB Silverado
Seatpost - Rockshox Reverb Stealth (150mm travel - love!)
Pedals - NRG as in the pic, Time ATAC regulars.

    Quick update:

Only had time for a short shake down ride. First impressions: WOW.

My bike history: Giant Reign, Ibis Mojo SL, Santa Cruz Nomad, Transition Bandit 29 and a V10 for DH. So far this is THE best fitting bike I've had. Sizing and riding position is spot on! It pedals extremely well, much better than my Nomad, which is the closest to.
Feels way more stiff than the Nomad on the downs. Both the climbing and descending get you that "in the bike" feel.

So, better on the ups than the Nomad. Feels like a mini V10 on the downs.

First impressions on the new Pike. We have a winner. I loved my Pikes on the other bikes and this one doesn't disappoint. Very plush and very stiff. Tracks super well.
    (I'm 6' 2", 225#).

Heading out to Whistler next weekend. More detailed reviews to come. So far, I love it!

Right on, nice build. I recently converted my T2 to 27.5 and absolutely love it. I'm sure you will have a blast with it.
