Nice frame (but the cable stop looks so ugly there).

I love that the cable stop is more forward. It saves the frame and cable from rubbing together. Looks good to me.

Keep posting pics of the M9.

Technically you're right. It is the right place for the cable stop. I just meant the way it was welded there. Looks kind of not very thought out.

This isn't making the wait for "mid to late November" any easier. I was hoping my med raw would come in under 11lbs. with a ti spring, but it looks like it will be very close to 11. Oh well, my King hubs are on BO, too.

The thing still needs a fender in a bad way, mainly for the shock, but those reinforcement gussets make a fantastic mud shelf. I'll go get some cheese for my whine now.

...and probably twice as tough. thats good weight added. WC bikes need to be all-day strong. Socom is a totally different tool.

Only if you are a fata$$ hack type of rider.
Now that Intense has covered this side of the rider spectrum it is about time to develop a Socom Evo for us skinny finess style riders.

Thanks for sharing the pix. Mouth watering.

So what are we thinking on frame weight versus the M6 - I was guessing 0.5 to 1 lb lighter with the M9, like for like. Looks as though I may have been off base, and it is more like-for-like.

    Any ideas ?

    Beautiful. So nice naked.
I can't wait to be engrossed in progression curve changess and travel choices only to begin monkeying with head angle and have to start all over again.
The stickie with tuning tips will be a great database for everyone.
Anyway we can starting points for team riders for each WC course?

A local bike shop (http://thepathbikeshop.com/) has an M9 in the black chrome. It is very nice looking - even to the point where I was thinking of replacing my M6 with it, despite not riding my M6 much lately. I think the black chrome is my new favorite Intense color. The pictures here truly don't do it justice. It must be seen to truly appreciate.

Well after carefully talking to the wife, to see if I can make that Blue M9 mine, it turns out I would have to get sponsored or win the lotto. I will be buying some lotto tickets tomorrow....

Wonder if anyone is into sponsoring a semi-old semi-winning Canadian?lol

Also depends on what color and size you ordered. Raw Med were the first out the door, followed by Red I believe. Mediums, smalls, then larges are the build order, with the Raw/stock colors as the first to ship. Timeline is not soley dependant on your order date, as of yet. Talked to them yesterday and my meduim, custom color, should be going out the door towards the end of the week.

    great Ride

the GEO feels the same in comparison with the 951; but the acceleration on rough tracks with lots of pedaling is much better due to the (in my opinion) better workin rear-end.

due to the angle-set AND the G3 you can make it a lot larger than the 951.
    The reach feels the same.

    Good info!

I personally love the low BB on my 951. Do you still have that go-cart feeling? How is your frame set up currently?
