Personally like it better without the sticker kit. Shows the work you have put into the design. Beautiful.

Anyone notice that no matter how you photoshop the parts and colors around, the new M9 makes it all look and work right?
It's just so damn well thought out and performance driven its scary.
And I love me a mile of perfect aluminum weld...

    Thanks Mr Intense... Awesome bike!

By any chance do you have pictures of a white one?
I love the 951 in white and I would like to see the M9 in white to help me to make a decision.

as much as I love seeing pictures of your frame jeff, I still gotta wonder, have you gotten anywhere on the updated geo specs? the frame looks killer for sure, but sadly I'll have to pass if the reach isn't long enough...

    @MR Intense:
Why do you only use a pinch bold on the top side of the head tube? i saw some of the M6 evo and 951 protos using one one the the top, one on the down side of the head tube?

does it mean you need still need a headset press for the installment?

The info on this is out there:

the bike was initially designed for the head angle to be independently adjustable thus requiring the pinch bolt style headtube. But this was before the angleset came out. The angleset means pinch bolts arent really required at all, but they stuck with it on the top to make changing out the top cup much easier.

This is true , The team ran a system that we made in house that you needed two cups top & bottom to change plus or minus. The Angleset (comes with the frameset with 0,.5 & 1 degree cups) only needs the top cup to change or rotate so we saved some weight by removing the pinch bolt from the bottom cup. The bottom cup is installed conventionally & you can still run any headset of your choice with this.

I've been so excited about this bike for a while. I've wanted a 951 and I was waiting time since I knew a new bike would be soon. Its finally here! Anyone order one yet, and even a price? I'm planning on getting a white frame.

Also small question for anyone on 951/M6 and ordering an M9... I'm 6'0" and I cant figure if I should get a medium or a large for the M9. I've always had Mediums on my downhill bikes, and I sold my DH bike a few years back and switched on a bullit and I decided that I need a new DH bike.

    Thanks!

    Yo Jeff,

    Got a question for you....

How wide is the bushing hardware on each end of the shock? I'm wondering as I'd like to run the Enduro Needle Bearings on both ends and I'm hoping it's one of the standard sizes that Enduro offers.... 30mm/35.5mm/40mm width?

    Cheers

    Hi Jeff,

Me too got a question for you....

This time the stickers are the same for all frames in any color?
If I wanted the M9 white ( Like E.Ragot ) with RED stickers ( like my 951 ), it would be possible or b&w all this time?

    tnx

    M.

The 951 would be a little lighter and a little more efficient for pedaling... so its hard to see the major benefit of the M9.
I'm in the same boat, and I don't race.

Just have a preference for DH over FR and ride mainly lift accessed bike parks. Preferring gnarly natural rough singletrack over smooth jump lines but still ride both.

I think the sheer adjustability of travel, BB, HA and travel path is something you can totally dial in, if you are really into that much detail and personal tuning.

    Do I need one... no.

Do I want one ? Sure.

Would I enjoy one and get more out of my riding...definitely.

But the reality (should we choose to accept it) is a 951 at 8.5" travel is probably more than capable of handling what we both throw at a DH bike.

so theres is no 1,5° cup included in the package? I think it would be nice for people running shorter A-to-C lengths as this should should steepen HA, right? What do I need if I want this 1,5 option? Can i buy e upper cup (the golden one) as a spare part , i am a little confused?
