You can use your low 2010 boxxer crown!

It works great on my M9 together with the angle-set and a 5mm spacer below the the upper crown.

We've been very impressed with the new Code brakes so far. A massive improvement over the old ones, that's for sure. Great modulation, incredible stopping power, and nice adjustability. For the money, I can't think of a better bang-for-your-buck DH brake than the Code R.

G3 dropouts have been in use for a while now on the 951. I haven't heard of a failure there, though it does appear a bit fragile in that position, from that angle. Mine will probably stay in the mid and forward points. Anyone been running their 951 in the long position? You'd think that after 2 years of pro R&D testing, that would have been flushed out by now, if it were a weak point. I'm not worried about it at all.

I picked up and handled my buddy's frame today. He he...
It is an amazing work of art. The welds are to drool for.
And I can't believe how centered the mass of the frame is. The head tube, rear end and seat mast just sort of poke away from the business of the center.
    Can you say dialed?
Should be supremely flickable and balanced in the rough.

    Will mine never come?

The rust inside the dropout bolts is an obvious hint of a lack of attention to detail in design. Yeah, I know all of the Intenses with replaceable dropouts are like that - I hear it all the time..."nice bike! what's up with the rusty bolts?"
May the air be filled with tires!

Ya, I need a bolt that won't rust.

Wonder if there are any makers of stainless steel or maybe Ti bolts like the ones used on the G3 drop outs? Id do the stainless if i can find a manufacturer. Anyone know what the actual name of these style bolts / fasteners would be?

They're just chainring bolts. You could be really bling and use the gold ones from Saint cranks

    That link doesn`t work.....

I thought chainring bolts were aluminum, ie,no rust. Am I wrong? The bolts on my G3 dropouts are rusting inside too and I don`t like it. Not one bit. It`s interesting that someone said, try the gold bolts from Saint; there are lots of anodized chainring bolts in the shops here, so I think I`ll give them a try. Has anyone else done this?

They aren't aluminum ones in the dropouts and I was advised against using aluminum in that area. I'm not sure if you can get stainless but I know you can get titanium and that's what I'm planning on getting. Make sure you get the right length on the barrel nut for whatever you choose.

ohh my god weight weenies are out there... don't take it personally but isn't it maybe better gaining some muscles and not investing so much money in light parts?!
i have seen this year in a world cup team (don't wanna name this team) which were testing a new 2011 frame (NOT INTENSE!!!) - and this bike should be built up with 15,8-16,5 kg - they had 7 broken frames and all the time parts which broken....

Did anyone find any problems with the M9 while assembling?
Frames straight, ISCG tabs on, everything faced correctly, bolts or spacers missing?

cool, when you build up a bike, dont use it.

its light and comfortable. when i went with a weight-weenie saddle, it broke. thankfully so because it was the most uncomfortable saddle in the world.

the bottom headset cup was ridiculously tight to fight, even with grease. id rather have it tight then loose though.
dropouts went on with no problems (washers were tight, but no big deal), everything was faced and went together so smooth.

Wow that M9 is SICK!! But what's up with that lame seat? It's like a big zit on a super model's arse.

What's gay are those little weight weenie saddles that igmos pay too much for so they get an ass pounding until the POS falls apart. This is sadly repeated until it is discovered that WTB saddles are arguably the best combination of light weight, comfort and value.

BTW, anyone looking for a med. raw M9 frame shoot me a pm. I have one for sale-never built up

    stop making sense

that saddle is 50grams heavier then the weight-weenie Sunline saddle i had (and hated) and is 1000x more comfortable.
