Looking for an uzzi sl chainstay

rebuilding an old (01? or 02? /) Uzzi sl frame and need a new chainstay. The old one has hairline crack. Looking for either an old one without crack or do you think the chainstay could be fixed with a weld? I know most people do't recommend welding heat treated aluminum but I've seen some incredible repairs on old skool bmx bikes(like a PK ripper )that looked unfixable.

Ordered the chainstay- building up slowly

Should received it from the UK for about $90 shipped. Brand new and polished which will match the frame. Looking over the frame I noticed I am also missing one of the allen bolts that holds in the bearing on the frame linkage. Back to the drawing board, guess I'll try in Intense again. Wonder how much a bolt shipped will cost- $15? Any have recommendations for a shock? I think I need a 6.5 x1.5 stroke. I used to have this bike about 4 years ago and think I had a fox float on it but don't know if anyone would recommend anything else.

Have PUSH overhaul and custom tune Fox shock for $150.

I am sure Intense will hook you on the pivot bolt.

In case you are intersted in repairing the cracked chain stay.

Heat treat a must after a small weld repair on the frame?

I heard on other posts that intense was out of chainstays and seatstays. Well looking at this photo that doesn't seem to be the case. Check out the Horst link baby blue seatstay.
