get rid of that quick release seat collar for a bolt on one. You can save a little more weight. Sick build!

    Wink

Here's mine in Large, converted to 27.5 (dropped the BB accordingly), with Light Bicycle Wide carbon rims, Rocket Ron 2.25" tires and XX 2x10 setup. I'm also using a 10mm TA in the rear for increased stiffness. 19.84lbs as pictured.

Two frame sizes larger, bigger wheels/tires, 2x10 instead of XX1 , a mud flap/fender and almost 2lbs lighter than the one posted above? Something doesn't add up, literally.

Can you post a parts list? I'm trying to drop some weight on my Spider Comp and I'm curious.

Search the forum for "Project Carbine SL 27.5", he uses Lightning cranks and MCFK seatpost, everything does add up... I am still jealous...

    edit for the cranks...

Lightning crank with Extralite Gara 28/42. XTR front der, XX rear der, cassette and triggers. Schmolke 660mm riserbar, Scmolke TLO seatpost, Extralite hubs (240g for the pair), 365g carbon rims (1174g wheelset), 1500g SID 120 27.5, Formula R1 brakes, Rotor stem, KCNC bottom headset, Extralite upper, and various small tweaks here and there to shave the last few grams. A bit of a bummer that the weight ended at 9.00kg and not 8.99kg. Maybe the Kettle rotors will fix that if they get the performance issue solved.

With a bike that light, really hard to keep it on the ground. But maybe you want to fly?
My SL is 26.4 pounds, light enough for me.
