    Intense's Easton Aluminum Tubing

    I was just curious if anyone knew where the Easton aluminum tubing Intense uses is made.

    I would say EA6X and Rad, possibly ultralite on the spider fro.

    taiwan, I'm almost possitive all easton tubing is made there now.

    Thats unfortunate. I was really hoping everything about most Intense frames were made in the US.

    Yep, Easton has been moving their actual manufacturing works overseas for several years now and as far as I know, it was complete a couple years ago.

    Tubing that's not Taiwanese or Chinese is actually harder to find than one thinks, although domestic is available. That's an oddity about Nicolai as well. They are proud of the Easton thing and being made in Germany, but I think they sort of don't have a choice unless they want to go to the US to get the tubing profiles made.

    Making tubing is extremely energy intensive. It only makes sense to put it in a place where all costs are lower.
