INTENSE color chart...say it ain't so.

I heard from a little birdie that Intense wasn't offering the long time historical Intense race colors of red with yellow graphics. The color scheme that put the company on the map and has been the race colors for years.

    Is this true?

IMO if it is it is a sad day in the company's history. The racing world and any long time mountain biker know's Intense as the red rocket. There is nothing wrong with offering a multitude of other popular colors but to void the color scheme that put the company on the map and built it's heritage is quite the shame in my eyes.

I don't know I went on the website and it's showing red. But is the site current and updated. Does anybody have the real world info. on this?

Just a logical step. Now that they are just another brand with TW or China produced carbon frames in trend wh@ring wheelsizes, why should they keep their trademark color?

Red is still a standard color on all of our aluminum frames! As far as carbon though, stay tuned....

Any chance there will be a 26" Tracer 2 or similar in your future product portfolio?

So Sam @ Intense Customer Service can you give us some insight to the rumors. Is red on it's way out and why haven't there been any red with yellow graphics like the Intense traditional color scheme.

DJ, you can still get red on alum frames, not sure if there are any carbon bikes being offered in red. I haven't seen red and yellow race colors in a while.

I was mulling over the idea of buying a Carbine 27.5 until I saw the red was replaced by the foul and nauseating yellow. Who the **** would want a yellow ride?

This sucks because this was the bike I have been wanting also but it has to be in red.

All you're asking for is yellow stickers. They still make red bikes. There are plenty of companies out there that make decals.

Maybe they're just giving the red/yellow layout a break for a while.

Apparently they're not making the CF bikes in red anymore. And no if I were to buy a new Intense I'm not going to have some cheesy aftermarket yellow stickers made. I like my rides in stock trim. And the red and yellow was Intense race colors for years and their reputation in the race world was built on that color scheme. It stands to reason to offer that scheme in some if not all of their models. Some changes are obviously needed to stay in the market but IMO this color scheme should always be offered for the Intense purists.

I don't see what the big deal is. If people aren't asking for it, and the company is trending forward, what is the big deal? Sam said you can order an aluminum frame in red. And painted Carbon? Not sure I'd want painted carbon. Carbon looks awesome as it is!

I have had a Red Intense - 2003 Uzzi and the paint/decal scheme was awesome. Now I have a blue Uzzi 2010 and the blue color, IMHO is becoming iconic for Intense. Things change. Styles change.

I hear you here. The crappy new yellow one doesn't even look well done, just a few cheezy stickers on the raw and we'll call it yellow.
The red was 275 was pure sex. The yellow one, meh, justin beebr has a yellow Ferrari if that tells you who it appeals to.
It is so awesome when Pantone announces what colors we should adore and the masses say "like yea".
