Hard Eddie Headset Question - Need Help!

All, I need some assistance on choosing the right size headset for my Hard Eddie frame. I have no documentation to refer to that provides the exact size. REQUEST: Can you guys tell me the exact Cane Creek or Other models you have had success with?

    DETAILS:
Intense emailed me on Facebook (<--- that was great customer service!) and suggested they use FSA Orbit C-40. From FSA's website they list the following specs:

    DESCRIPTION & MATERIALS
Differential Headtube 45/ 45 ACB Upper Industrial
bearing Lower(Compatible with carbon or Alloy headtubes)
    For tapered 46mm/56mm OD headtube
For tapered fork steerer 1.5" to 1-1/8"
    Alloy top cover
Upper : Campy Angular Contact Bearing (Black seal)
    Lower: Industrial cartridge sealed bearing
    Stack Height 15.7+0.9=16.6
    Weight - 90.8 g

I'm partial to Cane Creek 40 headsets but I don't see a matching spec to the FSA Orbit. I've seen a number of builds on here with folks using Cane Creek and other headset.

Can you guys tell me the exact Cane Creek or Other models you have had success with?

    IS42 top
    IS52 bottom

I do not believe Chris King makes a compatible headset yet

Hey Sam. Rather than giving us the specs, would you mind posting the actual model? I'm getting confused with all those figures the manufacturers are providing. Thanks!

Here are the 40-series parts from Cane Creek:

    Cane Creek 40.IS42.Short.Top Assembly
    Cane Creek 40.IS52/40.Bottom Assembly

The FSA part listed in the previous post is correct- Orbit C40 No.42

    NO.42/CF/ACB

Thanks Sam and jods for the reply. Looks like Cane Creek has a IS 42 top with a separate IS-52 lower that I can try.

Cane Creek 40 IS-52 Lower Headset Assembly 1.5

UPDATE: Looks like we posted at the same time. Thanks again Sam! Appreciate the excellent customer service.

Tried looking for the Cane Creek 42 Top and I couldn't find one in red. I saw one which stated "41|42 28.6" I thought that was it until I asked confirmation from Cane Creek which said that that was a 41 and not a 42.

This headset hunting is more complicated than I thought it would be....

    Need help!

Chris King does not make a headset compatible. I went with the Cane Creek when building mine. You can go short or tall stack on the upper.
