    For anyone interested:

Please note that assembly/torque for Carbine 29 will be the exact same as Spider 29 Comp

    Perfect - thanks :-=

    1. What is torque for the 2011 Spider 29 and Tracer 2?
    2. Should I loctite the bolts when tightening the lower link on the 2011 Spider 29? It does not seem possible to loctite the female threads on this link. I have only loosened the bolts so far on the lower link.

Follow Tracer 275 torque values for both your Spider 29 and Tracer 2. If your Spider 29 uses the older style lower linkage (non-expander style), then you'll need to use some loctite here and torque to 150 in/lb (17 NM). Newer expander main pivot bolts will not need any loctite- just grease. All upper linkage bolts for all models will require loctite (Blue #243).

Aside from having a knowledgeable shop do it for you, Wheels MFG makes some great tools for this: Presses & Extractors

6.6 drawing not available, but send over an email if you have any questions. Torque for that frame's pivot bolts will be 175 in/lb on all 4 upper linkage bolts and 150 in/lb on lower main pivot bolts. Loctite on all bolts.
