First ride switching from Tracer 2 to Tracer 275

Oh man this bike is fun. I got lucky and got to break her in on the freshly tacky trails of Santa Cruz. 29" wheels have always felt strange to me, but on bumping up to 27.5 I felt right at home. Somehow this bike even built up lighter than my old tracer 2.

    So. Much. Fun.

nice, I found it too a bit of adjusting going from a Carbine 26 to 27.5. how did you find the transition?

I recently switched from a 2010 Uzzi to a new Tracer 275. Biggest thing I noticed is how much better the rear end is on the Tracer 275. It's braced in many more places than previous Intense models - and it is stout. I noticed how snappy it is as well - could be the 275, could be the new wheels, the swing arm - probably a combination of all three. I don't even have my 10mm thru bolt yet and using a wimpy QR and it is stout back there. I'm also running a 180 mm Fox 36. I am still on the fence as to whether I should reduce the travel to 160.

My other observation is that everyone complains about the CTD shock. I have to admit, it doesn't feel good just standing by the bike and pushing on the seat. So used to my Ti sprung coil over shock that feels good just by pushing down the seat. The CTD, with the right air pressure feels pretty good on the trail though. I have some tuning to do still, but if I didn't change a thing from how it is set up now, I would be happy.

If I had kept my tracer i was thinking of putting a 180mm fork on it just for fun, i had one kicking around but never got around to it. If you could spring for it(no pun) try the
CCDB CS. I will try the new Inline DB soon on a t275 and a Bronson. Please post a picture if you can
