    New question here. Chainstay clearence

I've been considering a carbine for my next bike.
Looking at a couple used frames I notice scuffs from apparently shoe heel contact on the chainstays.
Is this possibly an issue with the new 140 wide rear, or that bike in general?
I have feet on the larger size, around 11.
Thanks for any insight on this.

If your kneecaps are in line it won't be a problem. ;o) JK!

No, I scrub my heels on frames naturally & I don't see this bike being any worse than anything else I've ridden. The best thing you can do is take a test ride and judge for yourself.

Thanks, & yeah, my knees are so skinny, no issues there, ha.
I probably won't have an opportunity to ride one, hence the question.
Do you ride an intense carbine or probably similar, tracer?
Never mind, I see you do ride a carbine, what size? & shoe size?
    hey, maybe too personal, ha.

I have both. For now. The Tracer needs a new home.

The stays are exactly as wide on a 142mm rear end as they are on a 135mm frame. I've rubbed on pretty much every frame I've ever owned. I don't think the Carbine is any better or worse than the rest of them.
