    Carbine, link bolts unscrews

I have even used blue loctite, but they still unscrew. It's so bad I have to tighten them during each ride! Any tips?? Red loctite??

Something you may want to try is adding a generous amount of blue loctite (we use #243) to the threaded part of the top link and frame themselves, not the actual bolts. Putting loctite onto the bolt only can cause a lot of it to be lost on the bearing as it is inserted. Also, the torque value for the shoulder bolts is quite high- around 175 in/lb (19-20nm). Make sure after you apply the loctite to tighten the bolts appropriately, and then give the loctite adequate time to dry.

Give this a try and let me know how it works!

Feel free to email me with any other questions- sam@intensecycles.com

Thanks, can't complain about the response time !
Great stuff, I'll give it try as soon as I get the right loctite.
Maybe I'll finally get a torque wrench too....

    I'll let you know
