Carbine 275 Foundation build couple ?

Gotta say - for the money - and where Intense is going these days, both of these are in my top 3 prospect new rides (and a great local dealer won't hurt that potential)

Anyone know the wheel weight of the Sun Inferno/Speed Tune hub?

Also - seems the opinion is that the xfusion sus on these is right there close to or near good as RS stuff and not low end at that - has anyone had a chance to put this through the paces?

I randomly demo'd last yrs Carbine and it "opened my eyes" in a good way, but was a high end xt, pike, kashima ctd, carbon bling build - this foundation build puts this right in the wheelhouse for my 2014 bike (and leaves some for a wheel set especially if I credit/swap at dealer before ride)

    thanks in advance!

I had my dealer check on one and shipping early April. Great entry price for an upgrade able frame and XF susp gets good reviews. No demos In my region so a bit of a gamble but every vpp I've ridden has been impressive. Of course I'm still on an 07 fsr platform.

I swapped out the brakes and handle bar on mine. Taped the rims and they went tubeless with no problems using the stock Nevengals.

The rear derailleur is broke already, sticks in the extended position and makes the chain drop. The DU bushing has slop already. The Intense grips only have one lockring and its not the ODI type, so my KS dropper lever wont work with it. I swapped out one grip.

The Xfusion stuff works great. I love the bike! (still gonna tinker with the geometry tho...)

    Waiting sux!
Already ordered a LEV Integra and some ODI grips.
What's gonna be y'all's first and subsequent upgrade?
Wheels and brakes are high on my list.

Scottay, what sealant did you use with nevegals tubeless setup? Also what bar and brake did you go with?

I had newish Shimano XT's sitting here...I hear the LX's are just as good. Try CRC.....

I also had some Easton Havoc carbon bars. The stock bars are pretty heavy.

I used two little bottles of Stans in each wheel. After I taped the rims I rode the bike once with tubes, made the tape fit nice and snug .

    Hope this helps!

Great. I've always had good luck with Stan's, but last I'd heard some peeps had issues with Kenda tires delaminating. I like the tape seating trick, hadn't heard that before.
