When it's hot, where do you ride?

I like Bogus. Too bad I had 6 too many beers last night and won't have time to get up there until later in the week. I will now have to suck it up and battle the roasting foothills instead. Does anyone have a favorite hot-weather trail around Boise? Or do you just wedge yourself in an inner tube with some cookies and soda and float the river?

The question is not where you ride but what time. Everything is good at 5:30 am. But yes bogus and east side are the best in the heat

On the weekends I ride early in the morning and then during the week I like to ride right around sunset. Lights are defiantly the key to the late night riding. As far as trail go I prefer a little extra shade down in the creeks if I miss the window.

Can't wait till rideit post in January about where to ride then we can all say Boise

When it gets hot here, I'll let you know.
Nobody cares what kind of bike you ride.

I actually like the heat. Sunscreen, plenty of water and the trails to yourself! Once i get a good sweat going there is almost always a breeze in the foothills, especially the higher you climb. That helps cool me off and i certainly don't have to deal with the crowds on the trails.

I am on tapatalk and didn't notice this was a state specific thread so now I have poisoned it. Was gonna delete the poat, but need a pc which I don't own.

Anyway, it's Lake Huron in Michigan. Little beach, rock, water and shore riding.
