    T R Bogus basin

Little ride up at Bogus today, climbed up Morningstar...it's in great shape, with the moist ground the traction is super! Got almost to the end of Brewers before snow turned me around...won't be long till it's all snow free...still plenty of snow on the Deer Point side of things, though...

Little update: Rode shindig-deerpoint-ridge rd-mahalo-dry creek this weekend and it was very good. 3 small snow drifts on shindig and just a couple on mahalo, but other than that the dirt was perfect. Only a couple of fallen trees on the whole ride too. The cows have been loose tearing up the trail a bit towards the bottom of dry creek, but still plenty rideable. Great time to escape the heat wave!

I did Dry Creek on Sat and it was actually the sheep that did the damage but regardless, some sidehill sections are pretty chewed. Snakes out in full effect, saw 3 rattlers and one was a big boy, as big around as my forearms and take my word for it, my forearms are f'ing huge! I won't try to explain why...

The sheep have put the dingleberry hurt on Dry Creek, yes. But the cows have been dry humping lower Daniels Creek into bovine submission. That, and certain Sweeter Connie variances have fallen into neglectful disrepair and are now overgrown with poison ivy and thorn bushes. Fun as fukk, but no snakes though.
Nobody cares what kind of bike you ride.
