    Owyhees / Reynolds Creek

Has anyone ridden Reynolds Creek lately? How deep is the moon dust, and is it worth trying to ride tomorrow before the wind whips up?

The Owyhee "Moon Dust" Never goes away...depends on where you are riding too...most of the areas worth riding on a Mtn bike are plagued more by sand traps than the moon dust though. I say go for it...just my $.2... When I head out there, Im rollin on bigger tires though
Hey, is that a Huffy? That's a nice-lookin' bike, boy!

I ventured out there yesterday to ride the big loop and it was pretty good. Little moon dust, the sand was mostly rideable, 1 rattlesnake, a close group of wild horses, and only a few hunters. I actually was wishing more people were out there to smooth some of the rough trail. Great ride!

River left. Started at Wilson Cr. trailhead and did the big loop counter-clockwise w/out crossing Reynolds.
