    Looking for some thoughts.

Heading to big sky for some CME time end of July and was of course bringing the bike. Have about 3-4 extra days and was looking for some thoughts about rides to catch on the drive from Seattle.

Looking for some uphill work though geez I know I will be sucking air the first few days. Checking out the Salmon area looked fun, West Yellowstone looks good, though a bit touristy? Hiked and climbed my whole life but getting grayer. What's one or two classics I should not thing is I likely will be solo unless I hook up with some locals

Lots of rides from low elevation to high elevation between Salmon and Hamilton are shown on Skid Map. Also mapped on Singletracks. End of July will probably be warm so higher elevation is good. The Continental Divide area near Chief Joseph and Lost Trail Passes has some good rides where loops with no shuttles or out and backs are possible. Lots of uphill opportunities. Good luck and have a great trip.
