By not allowing the progression of trails your cheating everyone out of their potential.

Welcome back to ID Bob. That WY suggestion might be your closest big bike experience. If you're driving and heading back through Boise there's some stuff on the SW side of the state to ride....

38 thousand posts since January 2004.

    That's a post every 80 minutes for 5 1/2 years. On average.

SMT....there's Brundage for lift access. And some shuttle services here in Boise, check out bikes2boards on State for that.
Just ride down there and jump off something for crying out loud...

Targee is supposed to have some good lift served trails. I'm a Boise resident staying in Idaho Falls part time for work. If you ever want to ride (climb and descend) let me know. I've been getting out around Kelly Canyon some but hear there's more near Poc. Doug

"Head Trauma" in the city creek trails system would be your best bet for a big bike, shuttle-able depending on the clearance of your car
