    Goosed!

We got to the Gooseberry trailhead at 1130 and rode the SS for the first couple of hours (North Rim and Hidden Canyon). SS certainly adds a new twist to the problems. More momentum, quicker weight shifts as demonstrated by RRB below. After paying our dues, we took out the trailbikes and putzed around the South Rim and Bowls and Ledges for another couple of hours. Found two little kids that were lost (they were riding) and helped them ride out to the parking lot (their dad was a very ungrateful dude-not even a "thanks" for finding his lost kids.... Got to the hotel to a cool sunset, ate Thai food, wine, sleep...

Glad you and RRB (SJ) got to ride some good terrain and good weather.
Too bad the Dad apparently was such a putz!
Anyway, Man I love Thai food!

Have you been to, Siam on Apple and Boise?
GREAT Thai food (and nice people)

    Swamp

A gorgeous morning from our hotel room. Loaded up the bikes and went to the Swamp. A loop that we didn't get to explore too much this past Christmas... A hike with the dog and then the ride. No mechanicals this time so we spent a few hours messing around the rocks and following every single blaze we can find...

No envy here. Envy is bad....

Beside, I'll be in Moab in 4/13 with the Bullit, and gettin' schooled by D on the downhills. It should be cool. Her fave DH terrain is steep AND rocky. Hopefully, I don't spackle myself.

We haven't ridden together for sometime. She has been riding, but I can't remember where. We will ride together more as the weather warms up.

Man, I love watchin' her school guys who think she isn't as fast as them.

I take it you want to join for local rides.

We are like Ian & Brad...all spur of the moment. I usually get a call from Vega (when he is in town) or her an hour or 2 before ride time. I'll let you know if we figure out plans more than an hour ahead of the time.

Also, I've been riding on the road, so we don't ride much together. When the snow melts, PM me....that is when I'll ride the Bullit to the whoops above Trail 4.

I'm having a hard time believing that there wasn't something between "wine" and "sleep." (You know, a shower, or brushing your teeth, or something similar?)

Oh geez guys, get your mind out of the gutter! When you're on a road trip with a drop-dead stunning woman who can bike like a banshee on crack, of COURSE you want to brush your teeth after wine and before sleep!

Yep, and Thai food can be very aphrodisiac food
I certainly don't see anything wrong with a little delight between rides
    (the Thai food, of course)

Dude. You work too much. I really don't understand. I mean, how you gonna have fun with the money you make working if you never get out of town? Yeah, my boss might think Im a slacker and my grades might go down, but at least Im having a good time! You really should consider joining in the fun.

Hey, at least I didn't say you LOOK like a banshee on crack. BTW, nice "attitude" shot of you standing behind the truck full of bikes. I don't know what looks meaner - the truckload of bikes or you!

Leaving after work Thursday Gotta be back to pick the wife up at the Boise airport about 8pm Sunday. Got room for one more person, bike and gear. Gary, RRB, Sweed, if your there lets meet up for a ride. PM me.
