    Feather Creek

Anyone near Moscow or maybe the CDA area ride this yet?

"NEW: Mountain Bike and Hiking Trail (and horses). Feather Creek. Two loops (older trail is 5.5 miles and NEW trail is 11 miles long). Two stream drainages. Totally forested single track up, down, around and through beautiful wooded terrain on Forest Service land. (No roads or motorized travel allowed). Advanced beginner to intermediate skill level for bikers." It is also recommended to ride it counterclockwise.

Moscow to Bovill (33 miles) on Highway 8
Bovill to Feather Creek Road (4 miles) left on Highway 3 in Bovill
Feather Creek Road to Road 789 (.8 miles) (turn right)
Road 789 to parking lot (1.6 miles)

    feather creek

    a fun ride.
little bumpy still, as to be expected from a new-ish trail, but worth it overall.
a note to the easily spooked: lots of cows posing as bears in the woods.

Thanks for the report! I haven't made it out there yet for various reasons, will definitely be hitting it up next year.

I rode the 5.5 loop in July. It was fun... Intermediate climbing with not a lot of technical sections. Beautiful scenery. Overall a real fun ride. The 11 mile trail was closed to be worked on and life prevented me from getting back. I would definately recommend it.
