it looks like i'll be driving down from boise friday june 8th. i helped organize this event last year, and the trails and town are awfully fun. microbrews, great trails, small-town party atmosphere, free camping (at least we had free camping last year). if anyone wants to carpool, i have room for another bike.

Mark, Welcome to the Boise area, I remember chatting with you when you lived in ely,nv. How long have you been in town? Sounds like you have been hitting the dirt bike, how about the mountain bike.
moved here in january. haven't ridden my mtb yet , but i was pedaling by roadbike from kuna to the airport twice a week. been dating a girl that rides dirtbikes so it's been pretty easy to do that every weekend, but since i am suddenly recuperating from a compound fracture of the femur (http://motosapiens.net/brokenleg.html), i'm off the dirtbike and everything else for a little bit. hoping to start pedaling again in 4-6 weeks, and the girl has expressed some interest in mtn biking since she runs and lifts and is learning to xc ski and stuff.
in case it's not obvious, i'm not going to make it to the fears tears and beers. i can drive to work, but driving 6 hrs in my conditions doesn't sound like fun. check out the pics and xrays on the motosapiens site.
