    Smile Etiquette on the trail

seems as though the disgruntled skiers that happen to mtb might have forgotten that the up hill riders have right of way. have a pleasant new year

I don't know who they are, but I'm all for staying in my line while going uphill. My insurance is good, and my trail etiquette even better.

I'll bet those b!tches were riding brand spanking new sparkly $7000 carbonic big wheel Christmas bikes with enough suspension to make you want to have hemorroids. It was like the Halloween parade out there.

I'll just hang out in the linen district with my cardboard sign, thank you very much.
Nobody cares what kind of bike you ride.

I do know of two very nice Idaho Nordic members - both follow trail etiquette whether on bikes, running, letting their dogs poop and actually taking the blue bag with - who were given nice big wheel carbonic mountain missiles on 12-25.

Not necessarily, according to RTR and IMBA:

"Please follow the International Mountain Bike Association Guidelines.

    Yield
    To hikers, runners & horses."

This does not stipulate up hill or down.

Oh but of course, I was speaking in terms of bike on bike. Bikes yield to everyone
